For walkers at Rye Harbour and Camber Sands it wasn’t a particularly nice day. A strong wind was blowing relentlessly, and it was cold for a July day. Ideal conditions for kiteboarding though, and the kiteboarders were out in force on that day.

This photo was taken from distance from the Rye Harbour side of the beach. At that distance, through the lens, it wasn’t possible to see the colour of the kites so it was a nice surprise to see how their colours popped out when processing the RAW image file.
