The Horse Guards traditionally guard the Sovereign, but this year their services will extend to guarding the Olympic Beach Volleyball, which is taking place at Horse Guards Parade.
Their breastplates are so shiny that there was a good opportunity for a reflective shot or two. On this photo you can see the horse’s head, the crowd, a London bus and me. (Click to enlarge)
